Martin "Marn" Phan announced today via Twitter he will be leaving his current SSF4 team, Evil Geniuses. Both Marn and Justin Wong were added to EG together in late June of 2010 (a few days later EG also announced the addition of Ricky Ortiz to the team). The resulting 3v3 team has been widely considered one of the most fearsome SSF4 squads in the world. 

In the SF4 franchise Marn is known for his powerful rush-down and a high risk. high reward play style. He traditionally mains Dudley in SSF4, but is also known for high level C. Viper and Rufus. 

Currently there is no news as to where Marn will be going from here, or if the soon to be released Marvel vs Capcom 3 has had an influence on his decision. If Marn decides he will continue to compete in SSF4, it is unlikely he will remain a free-agent for very long.
