Updated February 18: SK Gaming manager Alexander Muller made the following statement to ESFI World regarding Jimmy Allen and the team's preparation for IEM 5.

You will understand that I will not disclose any information regarding Jimmy and his condition. What I can tell you is that we made the call early enough to have the team run their preparation routine. We played Kiev with the new lineup for the first time and now, six weeks later, we have to change again. It can go either way for us at CeBIT, I guess. CS 1.6 today is a lot about momentum and focus. The teams are quite even skill wise. NaVi, Fnatic, mTw, Lions, FX and SK that is from my POV, but you will have to count others into this equation as well.

Stricken by illness, Jimmy 'allen' Allen will no longer be a part of SK Gaming's IEM 5 World Championship lineup. Being a little less than two weeks away, one can imagine the illness prevented Allen from participating in the team's vital practices. Filling in for him will be RAGE's Dennis 'dennis' Edman, previously a part of PlayZone.se and crystal.

Dennis Edman will fill in for allen at the IEM World Championships

Edman made the following statement to SK-Gaming.com:

Hello! I've been given a great oppurtunity to play as standin for SK Gaming due to allen being unable to attend the Global Finals at Cebit. This is probably my biggest event I have ever played in and I must say being asked to play for one of the best teams out there is a real honour for me. I will do my absolute best to substitute allen and I hope that all of you out there will help me do so!

With Allen now out of the lineup, SK Gaming's test in the group of death (Fnatic, Lions, Evil Geniuses, Natus Vincere, project_kr) just got that much tougher.
