San Jose, Capitol of Costa Rica

by Bill Beckelman 8. May 2008 19:55

The hotel we are staying in right now in Costa Rica, is just outside the capitol of San Jose. Yesterday we decided to take an afternoon tour of some of the highlights of the city such at the national theater, democracy square, house of the current president and the national museum. We also saw a ton of "No TLC" graffiti. "TLC" is the still pending free tree agreement with all of Central and North America. (Costa Rica is the last holdout)

The traffic in San Jose is absolutely crazy with the mix of vehicles and pedestrians. Neither of us have seen anything like it and I have lived in Dallas, Atlanta and the DC area.
