Victoria, B.C. - A lone vehicle left the Pat Bay Highway at the Royal Oak overpass Monday morning, leaving the driver, a Saanich resident in his 40s, with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The cause has not been determined. The incident happened just after 7 a.m. and highway traffic was affected for about two hours, with traffic diverted to the overpass. Traffic delays approached 45 minutes, Saanich police said.
