National Trust reveals historic places to visit in U.S.

<p>The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a private, non-profit group that is dedicated to saving historic places in the United States. They have released their 2011 list of recommended destinations.</p>
<p>“This year’s Dozen Distinctive Destinations include some of America’s best places to visit,” said Stephanie Meeks, the president of the trust.</p>
<p>“They combine historic appeal and modern culture in a way that keeps visitors coming back,” she added.</p>
