<strong>5. Casino de Monte Carlo, Monaco</strong><br/><br/>
This is one of world’s oldest casinos and also one of the most exclusive. Built in 1863 by the same architect who designed the Paris Opera House, this casino is not nearly as gaudy as its North American descendants.
<strong>4. Atlantis, Bahamas</strong><br/><br/>
Located near Nassau, the Caribbean’s largest casino opens onto outdoor terraces and restaurants so that you can enjoy the tropical night air while gambling away your family fortune. Be sure to take one of their free daily gaming lessons so you won’t lose it all.
<strong>3. Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, USA</strong><br/><br/>
One of Vegas’ premiere resorts, Caesar’s Palace features three 24-hour casinos and a 2,400-room hotel which are decorated with Roman-themed murals and sculptures that an actual Roman emperor would find a bit over the top.
<strong>2. Sun City, South Africa</strong><br/><br/>
One of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest casinos, Sun City is located adjacent to Pilanesburg National Park where you can see Africa’s largest animals. If you don’t venture to the park, you may even see animals on the resort’s grounds or at least check out the life-sized elephant statues which stand as guardians on the Bridge of Time which links the resort's hotel to the casino.
<strong>1. The Venetian, Las Vegas, USA</strong><br/><br/>
There’s no need to go to Venice, Italy when you can see the sites of that city at The Venetian in Vegas. Built on the grounds of the fabled Sands Casino, this modern establishment features a reproduction of Venice’s Grand Canal and also one of the Campanile tower in St Mark's Square, except this one features luxury suites. It also has plenty of great gambling action.
