As part of the eleven qualified players (3 prior winners and 8 TL Open qualifiers) for the TSL3, Team Liquid is also inviting thirteen additional players currently playing from Asia, including South Korea. This is due to the fact that the TL Open qualifiers are only open to North American and European players. Today, the first three of these invitees were announced.

The three are Protoss players Min-Soo "Genius" Jung, GSL3 champion Min Chul "MC" Jang and Canadian Chris "HuK" Loranger, who is amongst one of four invited foreign players to participate in the GSL Code A next season. Team Liquid will be announcing the next set of invited players (Zerg) next week on the 12th, followed by the final set coming the following week (Terran).

In related news, Swedish player Marcus 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf won the TL Open #12 qualifier to become the eighth qualified TSL3 player. He overcame Adel.Scott in the finals, while also taking down ClouD, Nerchio and others on his way there.

Only three qualifier tournaments remain; the three tournament winners will earn berths, but don't forget about the eight additional slots which will be awarded to the top 8 players in the TSL3 points ranking. As of today, Dario "TLO" Wunsch has an 11 point lead over second place Ciara. On the bubble is Carlo "ClouD" Giannacco.
