The Mobile Edition of Courier Mail

Keep in touch with the latest news when you are on the move with Courier Mail's handheld edition.

If you have a personal digital assistant (PDA) which uses Palm OS, Windows CE, Pocket PC, EPOC or a similar operating system with browser software, you can access our handheld edition at: www.couriermail.com.au/wireless.

If you have a wireless connection

If your device has a wireless connection or you can link it to a mobile phone, simply open up a browser and type in www.couriermail.com.au/wireless.

If you do not have a wireless connection

If your PDA does not have a wireless connection, you can still access the PDA version of our site using other software or PDA Browsers.

Here are a few suggestions:

Windows CE/PPC

  • Pocket Browser

Some of these products are free and some require a shareware fee or a licence.

Once you have installed and set up your software, please add www.couriermail.com.au/wireless to view the PDA version of our site.


Mobile favourites

If you use Internet Explorer version 5 or higher and use a Pocket PC device it is possible to browse your favourite site on your PC and download it manually or automatically to your PDA when you next synchronise.

Windows CE Version 3.0 or later using SH3, MIPS or Strong ARM processors, running on the following devices: Compaq IPAQ series, Casio Cassiopeia E115, Jornada 540 Series, Qtek and XDA Phone Editions
