Venue

Shenzhen Graduate School is the campus of Peking University (PKU) in Shenzhen which is the neighbor of Hongkong. Please NOTICE it locates near south edge of China but NOT Beijing.

Please show the following Chinese name card and map to local people such as taxi driver to help you find the venue.

 

Dr. Liu Zhenyu (Mobile reached by +86-13811391606 ) and Ms. Tracy Liu (Mobile reached by +86-13811391606)  will assistant you also.

The main meeting room is Building H, Meeting Room No.214  (for fifty persons) in the campus. The secondary meeting room is Building A, Meeting Room No.203  (for twenty persons).

Travel information

You can take the flight to Hongkong International Airport (HKG) (http://www.hongkongairport.com/) and take the ground transport to the venue through one of the three entry ports between Hongkong and Shenzhen. Please find the details in the attached document.

The following maps show the routines from the three ports to the campus. Taxi is convenient for local transport in Shenzhen. What you should do is to show the above Chinese address and map to the driver.

Shenzhen BaoAn International Airport (SZX) is connected to some famous international airport also. You need half hour from the airport to the venue by taxi.

The following map shows the routine from BaoAn airport to the campus.

Hotel reservation

There are three contract hotels around the campus. Please find more detail in the attached document. You need to send your booking request to Dr. Liu Zhenyu and he will reserve room for you.

Visa information

Travel Documents 

If you are a non-Chinese citizen, there are two ways to get the Visa, one is to get the tourist Visa from local Chinese Embassy or Consulate, the other is to apply for a Business Visit (F) Visa at your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate. Tourist Visa is much simple to get. 

Requirements:

1. Your valid & actual passport which must have at least six (6) months of remaining validity with at least one blank visa page in it.

2. One completed Visa Application Form (Q1) with one passport photo (black & white or color is acceptable).

3. An invitation letter from the host company or unit in China, or a letter from your company.
4. An applicant who was born in China is required to submit his/her Chinese passport or last foreign passport with a Chinese visa when he or she applies for a Chinese visa with a new foreign passport. 

How to apply

1. You must come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General in the consular jurisdiction in which you live to submit the application;

2. If you cannot come personally, you may entrust someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General in the consular jurisdiction in which you live for the application process.

Invitation Letter 

To request an invitation letter, please download and fill out the following form ( invitation letter request form ). All fields are required. After the form is completed, please email it to Zhenyu Liu at (zyliu@jdl.ac.cn). 

The invitation letter will be issued by Beijing University. You will receive your invitation letter through email (unless you specified otherwise).

Invitation letters will be sent to everyone who has requested it by two weeks.
