The 5th General Assembly (GA05) of the Digital Media Project will be held on 2005/01/26-28 at

The meeting of GA05 will follow the meeting of Ad hoc Group on Editing Working Draft 1.0 of Interoperable DRM Platform – Phase I on 2005/01/25 at the same venue.

Objectives

The principal objectives of the meeting are:

  1. Produce the 2nd Working Draft of the Interoperable DRM Specification - Phase I (IDP-1)
  2. Produce the 1st Working Draft of IDP Use Cases
  3. Publish the Call for Proposals on Interoperable DRM Platform (IDP) - Phase II
  4. Progress the work on “Mapping of Traditional Rights and Usages (TRU) to the digital space”

Travel information

To get to Ipswich from Heathrow/Gatwick/Stansted there are 2 options:

Public transport. Take the underground to Liverpool Street, then take the train to Ipswich (about an hour from Liverpool Street), then get a cab to Adastral or your hotel.

Rent-a-car. About an hours drive from Stansted, 2 hours from Gatwick and 2.5 hours from Heathrow (depending on traffic)

Hotel reservation

You can find a hotel by going to http://www.adastral-hub.com/travel.html.

A moderate hotel in the centre of Ipswich is the Novotel. Most of the others are out of the centre so to get to a restaurant out of the hotel you will need a cab.

To get to Adastral Park from Ipswich there are 3 options

  1. Hire a car
  2. Call a taxi
  3. Rely on (slow) bus
