4.      The DMP notes the organisation of the DMP (DMP0034). This document is public

7.      The DMP notes the contributions on standardisation bodies and industry fora active in areas related to DMP (DMP0031) and requests its members to make further contributions on this topic so that a liaison policy can be established

8.      The DMP approves the DMP requirements document (DMP0036), making reference to the TRU list developed by the public DMP reflector (DMP0013). The requirements document is public. DMP members and non-members alike are requested to provide comments.

9.      The DMP approves its work plan (WP) (DMP0035). This document is public. DMP members and non-members alike are requested to provide comments.

10.  The DMP notes the TRU workshop to be held in Los Angeles on 2004/04/26-27 and invites its members and non-members as well to contribute to this workshop. Those who intend to contribute should consult http://www.dmpf.org/project/truws/

11.  The DMP calls for contributions from its members and interested organisations on the different areas of its WP for submission at GA02, in particular

  1.  Traditional Rights and Usages (TRU) of media users, Digital Media Business Models (DMBM) and Requirements (RQ). Contributions on this area are particularly urgent as proper RQs are key to the successful development of DMP TSs and RPs.

  2. Identification of Interoperable End-user Devices (IED) with corresponding RQs, that are candidate for short-term DMP TSs (IED-s). Contributions should include identification of DMBMs urgently needing support in the market place, to be used not only as a top-down crosscheck for the existing bottom-up process but also to develop and publish TSs for IEDs on an accelerated basis. It is reminded that the DMP WP foresees issuing a Call for Proposal (CfP) on this topic at GA03.

  3. Studies of Deployment of Broadband Access (DBA). In particular the DMP solicits contributions addressing how the availability of DMP IDP and IED TSs will influence the prospects of broadband deployment and development of broadband services, and impact the set of policy and economic elements listed in DMP0017. It is reminded that the DMP WP foresees issuing a Call for Contributions (CfC) on this topic at GA03.

  4. Identification of current difficulties in the use of digital media standards and proposals to overcome the difficulties. It is reminded that the DMP WP foresees issuing a CfC on this topic at GA03.

  5. Comments about the DMP seven-step process

12.  The DMP notes the following communications from the Board

  1. Approved Board meeting reports will be posted on the http://www.dmpf.org/members/ directory as per the DMP statutes

  2. Eurescom GmbH has been appointed as secretariat of the DMP. Communication with the secretariat is possible via the secretariat@dmpf.org email address. Registrations to meetings and submissions of contributions should be done with the secretariat

  3. Meeting fees are likely to be assessed for GA02. This will be done on a meeting cost recovery basis

  4. The intention to set up an Advisory group to deal with the policy impact and follow up of the DMP work

  5. The need of the DMP to develop an IPR policy

13.  The DMP amends the Statutes as follows: add the following paragraph 2.3 to article 4.:
