GA01 is open to non DMP members. However, only DMP members will have the right to vote. If you plan to attend please send an email to secretariat@dmpf.org.

Purpose of the meeting:

The meeting agenda will consist of 3 categories of items:

  1. Matters proper of the DMP Association

  2. Development of the first draft of the DMP work plan

  3. Beginning of the implementation of the work plan.

Item 1. will be for DMP members to address. Concerning item 2., the Board of Directors has made a draft proposal that the DMP should work on the following threads activated at staggered times to develop 3 types of output documents (see here for acronyms):

Please note that

Thread#1 : Has a value in itself as RAs on TRUs but is also the place where requirements on IDP, IED and EEC are generated
Thread#5 : Can onlly be activated once TRUs have sufficiently progressed
Thread#6 : Has been introduced because there is a sentiment that it should be possible to develop TSs for IEDs, suitably defined and in response to urgent market needs, that do not require the full TRU-RQ-TS process. Possible target IEDs are: Pay TV IEDs, portable music IEDs and Internet TV IEDs (3rd category of agenda items).
Thread#6 : Can onlly be activated once TRUs have sufficiently progressed
Thread#8 : Can onlly be activated once IDP and IED (lt) TSs are sufficiently mature and TRUs have sufficiently progressed

As GA01 is open to non-DMP members, a decision has been made to let non-MDMP members access the contributions and submit contributions on all items and, in particular RQs on TRU, DAS and IED (short term). Those wishing to register a contribution should inform the secretariat (secretariat@dmpf.org) giving:

  1. Author name

  2. Title of contribution

  3. Topic of contribution (e.g. thread of DMP work plan)

Once the contribution is ready, it should be sent to the secretariat (secretariat@dmpf.org).
