You can see some of Britain's finest comedy talents for free at the recording of TV and radio shows - as well as getting a sneak peak at forthcoming programmes.

Tickets are now available for the following shows. When booking by e-mail, please state which show you wish to attend, the date and the number of tickets you require (four is usually the maximum) as well as your full name, address and daytime telephone number. Sometimes shows have minimum age limits, so check if in doubt.

My Funniest Year with Al Murray

Pub Landlord Al Murray takes a comic look at 1997, when the Spice Girls ruled, Elton John turned 50 and Labour swept into power. Hear why this was his ‘Funniest Year’ in this Channel 4 show. Recording at the Hackney Empire, East London, on February 10. Visit for free tickets.

Comedy Rocks

Jason Manford hosts the best in music and stand-up comedy, with guests including Al Murray, Julian Clary, Russell Kane, Micky Flanagan and Jim Jefferies and music from The Script, Enrique Iglesias, James Blunt and McFly. The Marriage Ref

Jo Brand is The Marriage Ref in a new comedy panel show pilot for ITV1.

The show looks at real-life couples who have something quirky and ridiculous that they argue about.

It’s up to Jo Brand and her panel of celebrities and comics to decide who’s right and wrong in each of these domestic disputes – the husband or the wife.

It will be recorded on Sunday January 30 at the ITV London Studios, SE1 9LT on the South Bank, near Waterloo.

Space

Robert Webb hosts Channel 4’snew comedy entertainment show. Each week on his ship “Captain” Robert is joined by 3 celebrities as they attempt to define and discover the very best of our planet from the last few thousand years.

It will be recorded on Wedneday February 16 at the BBC Television Centre, Wood Lane, West London.

Sarah Millican's Support Group

Sarah Millican is a life counsellor and modern day agony aunt Assisted or hindered by other experts of the heart, Terry (Simon Day) and Marion (Ruth Bratt), Sarah will be tackling the nation's problems head on, dishing out real advice for real people.

Recording at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London on Friday January 28 and Tuesday February 1 and at the Drill Hall, also Central London, on February 21. Doors open at 7.45pm.

Act Your Age

Simon Mayo hosts the comedy show that pits the comic generations against each other to find out which is the funniest.

The teams are The Up-and-Comers, captained by Jon Richardson and Holly Walsh, the team from the comedy establishment, led by Lucy Porter and Rufus Hound and comedy's elder statesmen, captained by Tom O'Connor and Ted Robbins.

Recording at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London on Tuesday January 18 and 25, Wednesday 26 January, Monday 31 January, Monday 7 March and Tuesday 8 March. Doors open at 7.45pm.

Showstopper!

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical is a new comedy in which the Showstopper team create a hilarious improvised musical on the spot with the songs, plot and characters based entirely on suggestions from the live studio audience.

Recording at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, Central London, on December 22, January 5, 14, 16 and 30; and February 13.
