Mobile Sales & Marketing Manager

The Mobile Marketing & Sales Manager will oversee The Huffington Post's mobile marketing and sales efforts and work closely with the SVP Marketing to position the brand as an innovative leader in mobile marketing communications. Position will be responsible for developing an overall mobile marketing strategy for the Huffington Post, creating mobile advertising packages that leverage the full suite of HuffPost mobile apps, training the sales staff on selling mobile, educating our clients on HuffPost mobile capabilities and driving incremental revenue from mobile campaigns. This position is located in our NYC office and reports to the SVP Marketing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Develop a mobile strategy and go-to-market plan for The Huffington Post designed to meet the mobile revenue targets in 2011
· Work closely with the mobile development team and ad operations to develop scalable advertising opportunities on all Huffington Post mobile platforms
· Create succinct and clear mobile advertising/marketing packages and product guidelines to simplify the selling process and drive rapid adoption of HuffPost mobile opportunities by the marketplace
· Work closely with sales to create custom mobile programs for large clients as warranted
· Train the sales staff on mobile marketing and HuffPost mobile products. Ensure that sales can confidently present and communicate our mobile opportunities.
· Work with the research team to develop compelling sales stories utilizing mobile usage/audience data
· Coordinate with Ad Ops to ensure proper execution of campaigns and insure alignment with customer objectives
· Evangelize and prospect into ad agencies and clients
· Support sales staff on sales calls, travel to agencies and clients as needed
· Stay current with emerging technologies Rand marketing innovations across the competitive mobile landscape, conceive of new products ideas, vet with edit and sales, and bring these to customers through sales opportunities
· Work with Ad Operations to develop and manage partnerships with third party mobile delivery companies

Requirements:
· 5+ years experience in digital marketing
· 2+ years mobile advertising experience either selling to interactive advertising agencies or working within an interactive agency
· Bachelor's degree
· Core understanding of mobile research and how to apply the data to sales efforts
· Must be a self starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
· Strong project management skills, with ability to move programs from concept to completion
· Strong interpersonal skills needed to move projects and communicate ideas in a busy organization
· Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile, startup environment
