Well, up to now it was a great start to the new year. Sydney at its best, with fireworks on the harbour, the worlds best actually. All washed down with some good Aussie bubbles and good chardy, a night to remember. Then today a visit to my favorite Lebanese restaurant, they do amazing food there and all of it is halal. I felt blessed, boy do those Muslims know how to cook a tasty meal, all fresh and healthy ingredients and prepared by angels, I reckon. Friendly people too, what a bonus. So all I needed to make my day complete was some lovely message from those bloggers at the mighty My T, web site extraordinaire. Then I came across Bubs message, and being my favourite blogger and all, I was engulfed in the spirit of peace and love in her message. To tell you the truth, the you tube clip brought tears to my eyes, I am still sniffing and coughing even as I blog, with snot running down my nose. And that great music, oh never has the world seen such talent as Abba. I always had the hots for the blond one when I was pubescent, but that is another story, better told late at night. Thanks Bubs, you are such a warm and wonderful women, after this message today I wonder if you would be interested in a blogging buddy relationship. It could turn into love you know, the two of us watching the sunset listening to dancing queen and eating pork pies. Think about it Love, 2011 may be your year.

As I sit here at home, Down Under, waiting for the mushroom clouds that will tell me all racism has been obvliterated, I ask myself .... Will the Brits come by boat? How many of them? What shall we do with them? do we really want them? :_)

They have effectively doubled in size since the start of the century. It's not my imagination. I have seen it with my own eyes here in Whitechapel. The only places now where you will find significant numbers of whites together in one place is in the relatively few pubs that remain. Far more than the churches. So, I ask, when is the first car bomb going to flatten the White Hart when Arsenal are on the box? I'm not being alarmist; I am completely serious.

Yes well the last time a friend shopped for food during his visit,he came back with a huge leg of lamb,which we roasted. There was so much left over I made a couple of medium sized Moussaka's for the freezer. [One of which I ate late evening] Now of course I'm kicking myself that I didn't check where the lamb was from !

It is largely due to the insistence that equality is the Holy Grail and this has resulted in dissatisfaction, greed and envy. Equality of opportunity and some basic rights (US Constitution/British Bill of Rights sets them out quite adequately) is fundamental. Equality in the sense of wealth, jobs, status is a socialist construct than can only lead to totalitarianism and oppression.
