Justice for Women Working Group
 

The Justice for Women Working Group of the National Council of Churches was formed in 1977 as an ecumenical partnership of representative from member churches. We are an advocate for social justice and a witness for women in the church and broader society as well as catalyst for women�s leadership within the church and the world.

Under the direction of Leslie Tune, Assistant Director for Justice and Advocacy, JWWG will focus on issues of human trafficking, violence against women, poverty and language.

The NCC is comprised of 35 member denominations:
