Brigid's Place has been called "a sanctuary for the female soul." At Brigid's Place there are opportunities to pray and meditate alone or in community, find support and direction in small groups and conversation and within a mentorship program. An academic aspect emphasizes a broad range of topics such as women's voice, gender roles, women's spiritual history, theology and the scriptures, women and work, women and families, and the issues confronting women and men in our evolving society.
Those at Brigid's Place believe that women with a spiritual hunger are looking for a place where asking questions about the meaning of life and the spiritual journey is encouraged. There are no membership requirements. Many programs are offered free of charge and some scholarships are available.
