A major focus for our work over the last few years has been in the area of advocacy on many different issues on behalf of women.

We participate in the United Nation Commission on the Status of Women as part of our ongoing program of global advocacy for women. We are part of the ecumenical and interfaith movements on behalf of Beijing Platform issues through our participation in the Justice for Women Working Group of the National Council of Churches. We support Episcopal Organizations whose work is focused on justice issues such as:

Episcopal Women's Caucus
Committee on the Status of Women
Episcopal Peace Fellowship
Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation
Episcopal Network for Economic Justice

We work in collaboration with the Peace and Justice office and the Office of Government Relations of the DFMS on the MDG's and other issues important to women.
