Asian Ministries

About EAM

The Episcopal Asiamerica Ministry (EAM) connects people and resources through evangelism and mission, church growth and revitalization, racial justice and reconciliation in, among, and beyond Asian communities in the United States.

We are Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, Laotian, Hmong, Burmese), and South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bangla Desh, Sri Lankan) congregations. The word “Asiamerica” describes both the Asians who are in the United States as immigrants as well as Asian Americans who were born in the United States. It also describes our relationship to the Asian Episcopalians/Anglicans in the global Asian community.

Click on our EAM Directory of Churches, to find the nearest Asiamerican congregation in your area. Go to www.episcopalchurch.org/asian.htm and click on Convocations/Ministries in the left column.
