How You Can Help

Episcopal Migration Ministries relies heavily on congregations and community volunteers whose contributions are essential to the work of resettling refugees.

Take Action
EMM invites Episcopal parishes and dioceses, faith groups and community groups to assist refugees through a process called co-sponsorship.

Co-sponsors agree to help refugees become economically self-reliant, emotionally secure and culturally adjusted as they put down roots in their new country. This offer of friendship and support promotes the healing and recovery that refugees so greatly need.

Most importantly, a successful co-sponsorship involves relationships that help anchor refugees. Additionally, co-sponsors can provide much-needed financial and in-kind support. This process is often transformative for refugees and communities alike.
