It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. Completed and mailed half my Christmas cards. The rest get done today!
2. Finally got the little boys into the tub this morning for a much-needed bath we ran out of time for last night. The bonus is that they enjoy the novelty of morning bathtime so much, they are staying in for an extra-long soak.
3. I cleaned out my purse. I won’t even miss all those ridiculous supermarket receipts! (Full disclosure, though: Almost immediately after cleaning out my purse, I somehow decided it would be a good idea to put a banana in there. And leave it. For a few days. My purse needs to be cleaned out again.)
Now it’s your turn ... Please share all the ways you were awesome this week!

Two words regarding #3: Banana Bread.
Banana bread good but I don’t know any good recipes for purse bread.
1) Finished my papers and finals for the semester before the books for winter session came.
2) Finally mailed a present to my MIL in Florida—but I know I bought 6 placemats and can only find 5. Oh well.
3) Didn’t kill the kid who is failing and admitted when she has too much work she just alternates which class to ignore the work in. (I knew this kid should stay homeschooled.)
