Rick Right

Having recently been to a show with Rick Right. I can just say to people he was RUBBISH. Making up alternative song lyrics, My 10 year old daughter could have done better. It seems as though he has had the same act for many years and it shows. If your lucky enough to see him don't expect much. 2 out of 10 at best. Neal Thompson, December 2010 |
Jongleurs - last night. Truely awesome, hilarious, and different. Pancho, May 2009 |
Aylesbury, 31st March 2009. Loved the show, Rick! Expert guitar playing made a superb format for the musical jokes, which were really entertaining. Thank you for a great evening! Guy and Wanda Higby, April 2009 |
A very good entertainer whose act appeals to wide cross-section of people. Gordon Kent, December 2008 |
Steve, that's actually not bad. Can I use it? Rick Right, September 2008 |
The actual lyric that he sings is "Shitting on the dock of the bay. Watching the turds rolls away." His act is an insult to people who love comedy. Fan of proper comedy, July 2008 |
Essex-based US comedian Rick Right is always enjoyable to watch. It is true that his material is a little too familiar but his lively, canny stage presence always adds a touch of spontaneity to proceedings - his guitar-accompanied impersonation of George W Bush is absolutely spot-on. Definitely worth checking out. Alain English, March 2007 |
The comment below this one provoked me to write. First of all Chortle didn't slam Rick Right, they merely pointed out that he wasn't actually comically gifted however he could work an audience and always get a clap and a cheer when he delivers a gag. This man is Mr Entertainment, which is just as good as comedy. Rick Right is not hilariously funny, not a brilliant singer, but an AMAZING entertainer and it felt he was on stage for only a few minutes. Adam, September 2006 |
