4th April 2009, my partner and I decided to try this restaurant as the price seemed good and on this particular night they had baked oysters and crab. This was an enormous mistake on our part.
Where to start, The chicken was raw and fatty, the fish was ranging from raw the so dry it snapped, the prawns were soft / slimmy and mushy, the mussels were bland and like rubber, anything deepfried tasted and smelt like it was cooked in very old oil. But the worst of all was the crab, it smelt like no food I have ever encounted before, it smelt like sewage and tasted no better. We management was contacted regarding this their reply was they have had no complaints which does not supprise as they were not willing to entertain any prespect of refund or partial refund. At this point their knowlage of the english language seemed to be failing and they just continued to say no complaints. I requested a container several times so I could present the crab to the health department. Needless to say both my partner and I are feeling very ill after this meal.
The last time i went to buffet garden, it was a lovely place. The service was great and the food was delicious. I would go back there anytime.
When I went there a few weeks ago, there were cockroaches running around the food and that really put me off. I went and told management and all they told me was that they do pest control every 6 weeks or something like that. I wanted my money back and all they gave me was a stupid voucher for a free meal. They didn't even refund my money... so basically I'm paying for that 'free' meal. I wouldn't go there again..
i used to eat there all the time it was great... i even go back there now days from time to time and i think its quite awsome... no complaints from me... and normally i dont do buffets and i really like the place i pritty much grew up eatting there... and ive never had a problem. ^_^ i give it a 7 / 10 rating
I have gone to this place since I was a kid. There is a good variety of food available, some days the variety is a bit better than others but all in all good restaurant! Very cheap for what you can eat! I recomend you give this place a go at least once!
