Full summary of GX episode 34 is released. Um..such a fun and a great duel. Since the 7 star series starts, we haven't seen Judai enjoy a duel for a long time. We can notice he hasn't said "Such a fun duel!" for many episodes recently ^^. Sorry for releasing it late.

Full summary of GX episode 37 is released. Actually, I should have released it many days ago. However, it took me a long time to check the duel details especially when their LP are decreasing gradually almost to 0. Also, I would like to note one thing that many people comment about the translatings. Please not expect that everything is 100% correct. Please also remind yourself that the main translator, my friend in Japan, is Thai. He is studying in Japan as I am studying in America. Both Japanese and English aren't our native languages. Thus, I don't expect my friend translate everything correctly since I understand very how difficult for him to learn Japanese. He may not 100% understand Japanese as I don't 100% understand English. Although I have been living for more than three years, my English hasn't been perfect yet. We are just certain that more than 80-90% of the details in our summaries are correct so that all Yu Gi Oh fans can understand what is going on. Therefore, I am very glad to fix anything that all of you send to me especially card details. Don't mind to report me any mistakes through my e-mail. I really appreciate many of you who have already done this. However, please not to comment about our languages since I don't know how to fix it either T_T. You can better help us by editing anything you want in this site and send your work to me. Of course, I don't mind or feel ashamed at all since I understand our limitation very well.

I am translating two episodes of GX, 38 and 31, at the same time. There is higher request on episode 38, so let me check first because I have almost done episode 31. Little note for episode 38: Before I am going to release episode 38, I would like to make a short note that Anacis isn't the shadow duelist. If you see the episode, you can notice that he argues against Judai about the misunderstanding of the shadow duel. Anacis is like a treasure hunter. He comes to Duel Academia to hunt its valuable thing that is The Three Legendary Demon Gods and Judai! He considers him the symbol of the school. That is why Manjyome always looks unpleased. On the other side, Sho is getting peevish because Judai takes his favorite fried shrimp from a meal. He gets mad at him until he doesn't follow him to the undersea duel. At the end when Judai has left the island for 3 days, Sho becomes very worried about him. His anger is totally gone. Um...time can relieve peope's temper ^^.

I would like to hold my summaries of episode 34 and 37 and release this news first. The new GX single CD for the openning, [99%] by BOWL, has already been scheduled to be released on August 25, 2005. Also, for the ending song, [Wake Up Your Heart] song by Judai's voice Dubber or KENN at Nab's, hasn't been scheduled yet. As I introduced in the previous news, KENN also performed in the musical of the Prince of Tennis. Having interviewed, he talked about his recent work especially the seiyuu career (voice dubber), that he dubs for Judai in Yu Gi Oh Duel Monster GX every week. He also talked about his coming single live show that he would sing this new ending song on July 2, 2005. Anyway, he expects the single CD for his song released around September, 2005, although there isn't an official release date yet. Full summary of GX episode 36 is released. I would like to make a note for something. This episode took me such a longer time to translate than that I've expected because of the lovely conversation. Frankly, I have no idea how to translate these words into proper romantic English. Thus, I apologize in advance due to my limited English knowledge if you see some weird language from the translating. Please just get the main ideas of what exactly happen.

Anyway, I have heard about old sayings before that a country or a man can collapse because of women. This statement may be true. Even a strong duelist or the last samurai like Misawa is still defeated by Taniya. I don't refer to the game but to his feeling. Taniya seems to be such a hot amazoness woman that Misawa has no idea how to deal with this kind of lady. Similar to the duel of Kaiser against Camilla, there must be some cause that makes Misawa lose this game. Otherwise, this duel may not end up like this.

By the way, there is something that I personally like to know. As you can see in the episode, Taniya picks up Misawa because she considers him smarter than Judai and Manjome ^^. In other words, she chooses her opponent by his face. That is why she hates Professor Chronos' ugly smile. I want to know people's view: if you have to choose a handsome opponent among these guys, who are you gonna pick up? Are you gonna have the same perference as Taniya's ^^.

Official Japanese DVD is released today!

Official GX Japanese DVD Box 1 is finally released today. It contains episode 1-12 with the highest quality and comes with special collections and postcards. Again, these extra collections come with Official Japanese DVD only. If you buy unofficial DVD with English subtitle, you will not get these GX collections. If you would like to buy it, please go to http://www.cdjapan.co.jp. Please remind yourself that this DVD doesn't have English subtitle, and it can be open only in region 2.

If you don't want to buy expensive Japanese DVD, you can buy an unoffical GX DVD that contains up to episode 20 with English subtitle. The first version DVD box set contains upto only 13 episode with 2 DVD while this second version contains more episodes with 3 DVD. You can look for it through http://www.ebay.com.

By the way, I am trying my best to finish the translating of episode 36. This is such a difficult episode for me because I don't know how to translate lovely words and acting of Taniya into proper English to present her emotion T_T. Thus, my translating may not present any feeling at all...sorry about that.

The story in episode 36 isn't much complex, so I believe that you can understand merely from watching it. Misawa is very serious in the duel against 7 stars and he seems not to do good business with women. He believes that people would not be able to pay attention if they are busy with female issues (Perhaps, he isn't good at dealing with women). Judai calls him the last samurai [Saigo No Samurai] to explain that Misawa is actually a real warrior with strong heart. However, when Misawa has to duel with Taniya, his attitude and feeling change. Taniya is a amazoness warrior. She needs to take him back to her village to become her bridegroom if she wins the game. Although she is defeated, she would like to become his hushand. Fighting against this type of woman, even the last samurai like Misawa is still distracted. Thus, he is finally defeated.

To explain the 6 deck types of Misawa, you had better see this picture. I think that it comes from a GX article but I have already forgetten about the source T_T. It explains the concept of Misawa's 6 attribute type decks.

As we know, six deck types of Misawa are Light [Yellow - Hikari], Dark [Black - Yami], Wind [Green - Kaze], Earth [Brown - Chi], Fire [Red - Honou], and Aqua [Blue - Mizu]. His concept is very simple. Light is against Dark, Wind is against Earth, and Fire is against Water. To dominate the opponent and the game, Misawa usually estimates his opponent and prepares the proper deck. As we can see, he uses Aqua deck against Fire Deck of Manjyome. In the duel against Taniya who uses warrior with earth type, he uses Earth deck. No matter what, he is still based on the concept that his deck and opponent's deck types should be on the same line of the above picture. I am uncertain whether this is important in real trading card game. However, in anime, it is very significant. Another example that we can see is the recent duel between Judai and Camilla. He uses Light destroy Dark following the above concept.

Full summary of GX episode 35 is released. As I said before, I feel very impressed by this exciting duel. Manjyome is pretty strong. His glory has finally returned. By the way, I usually laughs while watching his conversation with Ojama brothers ^^. He doesn't accept them at all although he has to depend on them ~

Short article from the lasest V-Jump about GX. Usually, V-Jump presents short articles to promote anime Yu Gi Oh GX. The current issues presents the new three assassins, Darkness, Camilla, and Taniya, as we have already known them. It also talks about the introduction of this series - Legendary Demon Gods, the 7 stars etc, and analysis of characters.

In fact, I am working hard on all of my missing work. I plan to first release the translatings of two episodes of GX, perhaps episode 33 and 35, following people's request. All of chracter decks seemed to be updated by my team while I was busy. Although I don't announce in the front page, you can check them by yourself ^^. Ah! I am very happy to see that Ryo's cards have finally been released in the trading cad, Cybertic Revolution. From my experience when I translate, I personally think that these cards are very potential. Thus, you can try playing them ^^.

Additionally, I would like to note about [KENN] from Nab's, Judai's voice dubber. Unlike Kazama Shunsuke, Mutou Yugi's voice dubber who is actually a model, KENN is a vocalist who has some work involving anime, and he is a bit well-known by people. Nab's is the Japanese band composed of five people. KENN plays a keyboard and is a vocalist in this band. Besides, he has several single jobs. If you are a fan of The [Prince of Tennis], you may know him from the musical. He plays the solo in Prince of Tennis the Musical [More than Limit St. Rudolph]. Because I really love J-Pop and many vocalists in Prince of Tennis, I have become a big fan of him. As far as I know, he is going to have a one-man live show for the new ending song of GX [Wake Up Your Heart] on July 2, 2005 in Shibuya RUIDO K2. I hope I were in Japan T_T so that I could go to see him. The single album for the song hasn't been scheduled yet. However, I believe that it should be done soon. New openning and ending of Yu Gi Oh GX have just been released this week. Their themes apparently show the storyline of the battle against the 7 stars. What impresses me at most is that Judai's voice dubber, KENN, also sings this new ending song ^^. How amazing! Personally, I more like these op and end songs than the first versions. Full summaries of GX episode episode 29 and 30 are finally finished. I should say that these are ones of the great duels that I have seen. In fact, I expect Darkness to play more trap or magic cards. His deck is pretty strong, full of dark-dragon monster.
