Bump and Run Chip Shots — Lee Smith, PGA-TPC Sugarloaf

Many amateurs we teach tend to use the same club for most short game shots around the green. This can work for sure but may not be the most efficient way of doing things. Perfecting one swing and changing clubs based on the distance of the shot proves to be more consistent than perfecting multiple swings with only one club. Experiment with chipping with a hybrid club, 6 iron, 8 iron, pitching wedge, and of course the lob wedge and chart the distances to make your club selection during your round of golf.
