A few weeks back, we brought you a look at Tiger Woods' fine new $50 million bachelor pad. We follow that up today with the first look at Michael Jordan's swank digs in Jack Nicklaus' new "Bear's Club" development in Jupiter, Fla.
Analysis by Cary Lichtenstein of PGA National Real Estate indicates that Jordan paid $4.8 million for the land and $7.8 to build the mansion, and will likely have a total commitment of $20 million in the property when all is said and done. And while Woods' property comprises three lots with both ocean and Intracoastal Waterway access, Jordan's has neither, which could compromise its resale value. (See if you can bargain him down!)

The Jordan estate has 11 bedrooms, a two-story guard house and an athletic "wing" with a basketball court (of course). You'll note that the property isn't far from the golf course, but we're betting Jordan won't have to sneak onto the course at twilight to get in a few holes.

amazing how much elite athletes make, compared to 30 plus years ago
....."and loses his soul". Can't take it with ya.
And what the HELL does anyone in a GATED fricken' community need a @#$% "guard tower" for??? His rich neighbors gonna steal his balls??? Golf balls, that is. Sheeesh.
These people. Waste of a good $50 million dollars, if you ask me.
For those who talk trash about MJ and TW, I would like to let you know that those 2 people & Co are not responsible of others' unhapiness. I bet if you were rich like them, you would do the same. Have you ever shared some money with the homeless people? I guess not. Finally, I would beg MJ and TG not to forget me for the holiday season.
Who cares?! Is just another stupid guy with money. He can buy all the world, but everyone gonna remember him like a big stupid creature with a bascket ball.
How much house does one man need? Tiger, Michael, have you helped anyone who has lost their house due to the recession? Have you even considered building someone a home who lost theirs in Hurricane Katrina, or to a tornado? How many mosquito nets have you sent to Africa to protect children from malaria? Have you even considered building some houses for the people of Haiti? I am not impressed by your multimillion dollar homes. The Lord gives and He can and will take it away.
Busbee you don't have anything else to report, you are an absolute idiot, Im contacting the FCC on your sorry a$$, YOU WILL NOT REPORT ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS SITE, UNLESS IT HAS SOME SUBSTANCE
come on thats just stupid who needs a ranch that big to lay your head the rich get richer and the middle class get poor
i bet half of all you yahoo commenters would also waste 20 million to buy a house if you had the money. Think about how he is stimulating the economy
Why is it this time of year where most people struggle and are depressed and really down on life because its Christmas coming and they have children they can't afford to buy one present for and yahoo comes up with stupid ads like this bragging about a 20 million dollar mansion someone has, who really cares what the heck is one person going to do with a house the hugh beside brag he is more and likely one lonely sole sitting there on his couch infront of a fireplace saying great i got the house i have to toss my baskets balls and work to pay it off or something, its not all what it looks is the guy happy with this 20 million dollar mansion. Doubt it. He more and likley got more money then brains. I agree with Marcelo . (Merry Christmas)
Tell me again why we have hungry people in America. What the hell.
Why? what a waste of money
Nothing special for $20 MIL. He must of spent most of the money on the inside.
That's one ugly crib.Who ever built that was laughing all the way to the bank.
20 million for a house, think i'm gonna puke. This is exactly why these people who are very, very rich should pay higher taxes. This is why they live here in Floridaaa to save tax $$, no state taxes. Jordan, Jeter, Woods, ect... build multi million dollar houses and were supposed to feel soory for the amount of taxes they pay, i don't, tax the crap out of them!
Even if I had that kind of money, I would not buy a home like that! think about it he will never really own that home, every 6 months you have to pay taxes on that amount of money and the only one that benefits is the Government, I would have gone to a different country and build that home.
That is how people go broke, buying such big homes and even though home values dropped, check your tax bill your home according to the city tax office goes up in value every year. how is that possible?
Homes are a bad investment, period. and now the government just passed a bill that you will no longer be able to deduct intrest rates on your income tax returns. @#$%. great to be american!
Just like another lotto winner.
Sustainable? What do you think?
One, maybe two generations of money. Tops. Then, wasted, snorted, gambled, broke and back on the street.
Guaranteed. And the cycle continues.
@#$%IN RIDICULOUS. 2PAC SAID IT BEST: "This world is so GIMMIE-GIMMIE-GIMMIE... Nobody should be hittin lotto for 36 million and we got people starvin in the streets. That is not idealistic, that's just real...I know you're rich. I know you got 40 Billion dollars, but could you keep it to ONE HOUSE? You only need one h...ouse...why have 52 rooms and you know there's somebody with NO ROOMS?"
How much is enough for one person, American Greed indeed!
Luv ya Michael....but
Having lots of money clearly does not account for taste. I guess the neighborhood association is pretty anemic.
I would not be a happy neighbor. I bet their real estate value dropped 20%.
it looks like a highpriced jail for the elite criminals like madoff etc. michael, you ain't got good taste when it comes to architecture. to me the whole thing looks atrocious. you could of done better .
A guard house ?
I don't like this house. Looks like a quilt of little shacks glued together. One would need a compass to get around and not get lost. It is also dangerous. One does not hear when a burglar enters or a killer. A house like that is very scary to live in. In my profession as a private nurse I often stayed in huge mansions. I never felt comfortable at all. It scared me to death to be all alone at times in such huge homes. I prefer a comfortable little house and am not envious of those that can afford to live in such humongous buildings. To each his own.-
Kkkeeeeeeeepppppppppp it uuppppppp............................if i would be like one of you i would buy the most biggest mansion than u......
