Despite back-to-back losses in which Louisiana Tech has surrendered a total of 89 points and 997 yards of total offense, the team is still feeling pretty good about possibly making a run down the home stretch of the season.
Nobody is denying there is still a lot of work to do, but the offense was playing extremely well before an average outing last week vs. Fresno State. Coach Sonny Dykes appears to have his guys on the same page on offense heading into a Saturday game at New Mexico State. "It looks like his offense is starting to get it going a little bit," New Mexico State coach DeWayne Walker said Monday after watching game film on the Bulldogs (3-6, 2-3 WAC).
