Blizzard Dominant in 4-3 win at Troy
Dyer, IN- The Indiana Blizzard showed up and did all the little things right and came out with a 4-3 win friday night at Hobert Arena in Troy. The Blizzard Started the Scoring as Jim Stussy notched his second goal of the season at the end of the First.
Troy came back with one in the second as Bill Knauber put on pass Blizzard goalie Rob Sudduth. Billy Vitale put the Blizzard back on top with a redirect for his second goal of the year. Zach Kane put the Blizzard up two with a blast from the blue line for his first of the campaign. Ryan Stern cut the Blizzard lead 3-2 when he put one pass Sudduth to end the second.
The Blizzard didnt let off the gas as the made the game 4-2 when Shane Ferguson blasted hissecond goal of the year past Troy goaltender Rob Mattison. Troy made it intresting when Chris Tasic score with 2 minutes to go in the third. "We got are much needed road win" Stated Blizzard Head Coach Sergei Kharin.
The Blizzard are back home Sunday for Guarteed Fight Night against the much hated Battle Creek Revolution with a puck drop at 6:35 pm at Midest Training and Ice Center.
