I read that Acer has developed some pretty serious touch-capable software for interacting with this. Here is one example of Multi-touch software, StNotepad Touch with multi-touch gestures for all text editing actions like cut, copy, paste, delete, space, backspace, enter, tab, undo, redo, selectall etc...
