I live in Coventry, I'm 33 and I play far too many games. I'm not an alcoholic though so I guess you win some and you lose some.
Although it’s only one study it seems that the punters who own and 360 or PS3 aren’t that bothered by Natal/Wave or Move. This study must come as a fairly big dose of reality for Microsoft or Sony; Microsoft in particular have spent a lot of time and money telling us how Natal is going to revolutionise gaming, herald a new era of interactivity and cure cancer.

I agree and thats why it's important to draw a line in the sand now rather than sit on the sidelines.
I don't see why you have to try and frame everything as an fanboy war and why you can't just engage in an adult conversation without insulting people, its tiresome, it does you a disservice, and it takes focus away from any point you have.
I love the way that you are trying to frame this as the worries of a 1% who you imply are conspiracy nuts. Look at the terms of condition for use with XBOX Live;
"You should not expect any level of privacy concerning your use of the live communication features (for example, voice chat, video and communications in live-hosted gameplay sessions) offered through the Service.”
Then look what an MS exec said during an investor call;
“We can cater which content we present to you based on who you are,” Durkin said. “How many people are in the room when an ad is shown? How many people are in the room when a game is being played? When you add this sort of device to a living room, there’s a bunch of business opportunities that come with that.”

Now the response is that they don't CURRENTLY have plans to implement this. That doesn't preclude them from implementing this in the future, but hey as long as its not the Government watching you scratch your nuts while play Kinectimas then it's ok, right?
The more I read about kinect the more it is plain that its wasted as eyetoy 2.0.
Whoops
