Kirkus Reviews has published its excellent lists of the best books of 2010 for children and young adults, and both categories have a section for graphic novels. Since there was a bumper crop of good titles to chose from, it was no doubt tough for them to narrow it down. They made some excellent choices. The children's list includes several amazing books (some of my many favorites on it include Hereville, The Unsinkable Walker Bean, Ghostopolis, and Binky to the Rescue; the others are great too). The young adult list is packed with wonderful stuff too, including Smile, Trickster, and The Odyssey. Click the links for both full lists.
