Katherine Dacey has been reviewing comics since 2006, when she joined PopCultureShock. Over the next two years, she helped expand PCS's manga coverage from a bimonthly column into a full-fledged website devoted to manga, anime, and Japanese pop culture. She stepped down from her post in January 2009 and launched her own site, The Manga Critic. Kate’s resume also includes serving as a panelist at the American Library Association's annual convention, New York Comic-Con, and Wondercon, and writing for Good Comics for Kids, a website hosted by the School Library Journal.
