Steve Harris
Now an established circuit act, Steve Harris started comedy in 1998, when he was named North West comedian of the year as well as making the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards and So You Think You’re Funny. |

Never laughed so hard at a stand-up comedian even after having seen the likes of Lee Evans, Jason Manford. Steve was quite simply the best, had me and the other 11 people in our group in tears from start to finish! will be seeing him again soon! all this talk about how nasty he can be is tosh, if you cant laugh at yourselves or take a f'in joke, stay at home you depressin fogies! :D Dan, February 2011 |
As one of the below comments says- some really good jokes spoilt by lazy, needlessly nasty material. I found his attitude a bit smug too, to be honest. Al, November 2010 |
He really made me laugh, just what I needed. I was on a hen night and he made the night... I would highly recommend going to see Steve Harris, e robinson, July 2010 |
I saw him last night in Edinburgh last night and he was awful. Jokes about gangsta rap and the fact he's northern? How interesting. Jim Shaw, May 2010 |
Saw Steve at Highlight in Birmingham last night and I have to agree with the majority of comments on here to say he is brilliant, a real top notch comedian and had the room rolling ...and to say he couldnt handle hecklers is just tosh, he dispatched the usual drunken comment with aplomb. Great routine and really funny .... Well worth a ticket when he is near you! Justin, February 2010 |
Steve is simply bulletproof. Amazing delivery, and I mean f'in flawless. Plus such strong gags! New comics: watch and learn from Steve! Dominic Woodward, November 2009 |
"The casual sexism, anti-disability, etc., stuff is pretty nasty; it's persistent and just a kind of unpleasant bullying. But when he stops doing that, some of his stuff is inspired. The gag about anxiety on fairground rides and the one on poo in the sea were both wonderful, and got bigger laughs, too" Are you that woman in the Wheelchair that was heckling? Steve Harris, October 2009 |
