Senior Services
In 2002, Barron's magazine selected Annapolis as one of the top 10
places in the world to retire. Among the reasons cited were the wide
range of activities, the classes, the arts, and the history, and the
proximity to so many recreational and educational resources and major
metropolitan areas.
Yet, Annapolis still retains its small town accessibility and
personality. Many of these elements are found in the number of
programs and services made available to senior citizens
Here is
information on the Annapolis Senior Citizens Center, as well as a number of other links of interest.

TRIAD
Triad is a nationally recognized grassroots program
to promote a three-way commitment among county
and city police departments, sheriff’s offices, and older citizens to
work
together to reduce criminal victimization and enhance the delivery of
law enforcement services to senior citizens. The
advisory council is
referred to as S.A.L.T. (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together). The
S.A.L.T. Council works in concert to exchange information, keep abreast
of mutual concerns, and disseminate information relative to the safety
of our seniors.

Safety Tips Early Summer 2010
Annapolis Senior Citizens Center Director, Becky Batta I'd like to welcome you to your "virtual" visit of the Annapolis Senior Center.
I hope this visit leads you to visit us for "real" in the very near
future! The Center has much to offer, activities that are both
mentally and physically stimulating! It is a great place to meet new
friends and/or renew "old" acquaintances.
