life:) — GSM the operator of a mobile communication presented by company "Астелит" in Ukraine in January, 2005.

For two years of its activity in the Ukrainian market the operator has covered territory, on which 91 % of the Ukrainian population live. Now life:) works in all cities with the population over 35 000 inhabitants and in more than 22 000 settlements of Ukraine, and also on all basic highways of the country. life:) provides roaming possibility in 193 countries owing to more than 500 roaming-partners.

On March, 31st, 2007 the quantity of life:) subscribers has reached 5,8 million. It has entered the market the fifth operator, for the first year of activity became the third national GSM mobile communication operator.

life:) — the leader of the market on the applications of innovative services. For two years of work the operator has presented over 150 additional services, 49 of which are absolutely new to Ukraine. Among services, which life:) the first has presented in the Ukrainian market, it can be mentioned convergent system, which allows for subscribers to change contract service to the prepaid services and vice versa with number preservation, interactive package deals — lifebox, "Vocal SMS", "Mobile TV", "MeloRing", "Who called?", technology EDGE, the Card of mobile connection EDGE/GPRS which allows subscribers of the operator to get access to a WEB-network through the laptop, no matter where in a GSM-covering zone life:), "Press and speak" service (Push-to-Talk) and many other things.

Today life:) offers wide covering EDGE, which covers 42 cities of Ukraine, including all regional centres, coast of Crimea and the Zakarpatye region. In May, 2006 life:) presented technology EDGE +/GPRS +, that has provided users with the data transmission speed, which three times exceeds possibilities of EDGE and GPRS.

The charitable campaign of the life:) mobile communication operator "To help is so easy" proceeds the third year allready. In 2005 more than 300 000 hrivnas have been directed on acquisition of all necessary for children till 3 years living in 15 baby houses across all Ukraine. During "to help is so easy" campaign 2006 for needs of homeless children of Ukraine it has been transferred more than 730 000 hrivnas.

In June, 2006 life:) the first in Ukraine has received international business award Stevie which New York Post called "Oscar business society ", as the Best new company of the world.
