Square Enix is giving mobile gamers an improved SaGa.

Square Enix announced today a remake of classic Super Famicom RPG Romancing SaGa 2 for mobile platforms. iMode owners will get the game first on November 1, with an EZweb release following next Spring.

The new version will see a number of improvements over the original. Visuals and sound are getting updates. Additionally, players can look forward to new classes and an original dungeon where you explore the mysteries behind the game's untold "seven heroes" story. The game will also feature a "New Game +" feature which lets you start a new game using your previous save data.

The base charge for the game will be 800 Points, which translates to ¥840. Square Enix is also planning download item sales. These downloads will cost between 150 and 200 Points (¥157 to ¥210).
