Conference of Diocesan Executives (CODE)
Membership is open to and comprised of lay and ordained people who report directly to a Diocesan Bishop while serving on the Bishop’s staff. The key to CODE is networking in a way that facilities collegiality, confidence, support. CODE’s goal is to help its members find healthy solutions to the challenges diocesan executives face, and build up the body of Christ.

Disciples of Christ in Community (DOCC)
An adult education program that provides an experience in building Christian community while encouraging individual spiritual growth. It is under the auspices of the School of Theology Programs Center of the University of the South.

Education for Ministry (EFM)
A program of theological education-at-a-distance of the School of Theology of the University of the South. Students sign up one year at a time for this four-year program. It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology.

Lay School of Theology at Virginia Theological Seminary
This program is open to persons of all denominations who wish to deepen their own understanding of the Christian faith and experience. Students in the Lay School of Theology may take courses as auditors or may enroll for credit toward the Diploma in Theological Studies.

National Network of Lay Professionals (NNLP)
This organization exists to develop a national support system for lay people employed in the ministry of the Episcopal Church.

Order of St. Luke the Physician , The
An interdenominational ministry dedicated to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Stephen Ministries
A training program to teach lay people to provide one-to-one pastoral care, under the supervision of a trained leader working with the parish clergy.
