Downtown Parking District
The Downtown Parking Committee is made up of downtown business owners / property owners and employees. They are committed to providing convenient, attractive and adequate parking for downtown customers, employees and employers. For customers and patrons of downtown, two-hour parking is free on the streets and in designated spaces in public lots. For downtown employees and employers, the City provides all day parking in designated spaces provided a downtown parking permit be properly displayed in the vehicle. In addition, a limited number of Reserved spaces are available in the public lots. As business composition and parking space use changes, it is the policy of the District to review the balance between customer and employer/employee parking and make changes if warranted.

In addition to writing citations, and as business types and additional businesses come into the area, our Parking Enforcement Officer continues to educate our out-of-town visitors and those new to the District.
The District continues to work with and provide the public with areas for special events. During the summer months, Central Square has been the location of the Klamath Falls Farmer's Market since 2000.
