Fully Alive!

Meeting Dr. Greg and Lisa Popcak!

This week’s conference experience has been full of blessings, large and small.  Among the greatest has been the chance to meet a few of my favorite authors and speakers in person.  On Wednesday, I couldn’t write fast enough during Teresa Tomeo’s keynote address.  And today, I had to really stop from looking like a giddy fool when I had the opportunity to meet and chat with Dr. Greg and Lisa Popcak of the Pastoral Solutions Institute

Greg and Lisa’s books have a place of honor in my office bookshelf and their radio work, especially their wonderful show “Fully Alive!” on Sirius/XM’s The Catholic Channel, never ceases to inspire me.  They have this way of giving real-life, practical advice that is both faith-filled and reasonable. Event better yet, their show is filled with the wit and good humor that shows that they live in and understand the “real world” that so many of our families face!  Since I’ve been a fan of theirs for such a long time, and frequently listen to their show, meeting them and two of their lovely daughters was such a treat!

Seeing them reminded me of the many wonderful resources they offer on their website at www.exceptionalmarriages.com, including their tele-counseling services.  If you find yourself in need of good clinical counseling delivered from a solidly Catholic perspective that will respect your convictions and commitments, please take a look at what the Pastoral Solutions Institute has to offer.

Tomorrow I head home and will get to unpack my bags, head into my back yard, and goof off for a month before my next trip.  Honestly though, my head is really still spinning over all of the countless blessings God has laid in front of me during the past few months.  Meeting Greg and Lisa Popcak and being able to thank them in person for the great work they do every day ranks up there!

Lucky!!!!! We met Greg a few years ago at a Marriage Day in Kansas City. We love their books and subscribe to Sirius just to hear their show. I can’t begin to thank them enough for all they have taught me about being a wife and mother. They are a blessing to us as a couple and to our whole family. If someone reading this is unfamiliar with them, go check them out now!! And the new second edition of Parenting With Grace is coming soon!

Lisa, you’re so lucky! I’m a huge fan of the Popcaks. Our local Ave Maria Radio runs their show Heart, Mind and Strength every weekday (and did you know you can download the podcasts of the show on their website or through iTunes?) and I listen whenever I get a chance. They’re wonderful!

Do you feel a special connection with them because they’re another married couple named Greg and Lisa, just like you? What a neat coincidence!

I have experienced tremendous blessings through my experience with one of the counselors of the Pastoral Solutions Institute.  I could not praise what they have to offer enough!  Tele-counseling with my counselor has been a great gift to my emotional, mental and spiritual well-being and to my family as well.  This is a tremendous resource to the whole Catholic community- as tele-counselors they can even serve those overseas!

Lisa, I really enjoyed meeting the Popcaks too. What a treat that whole conference was!

All of this sounds incredible. I haven’t met them, but I’m always interested in learning more about how to live my life in grace and in communion with God.
How much do they charge for tele-counseling?
