The 'Wild' 2010 Season

The Wild campaign commences in mid May. It is a fundraising season along the lines of BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief. A fundraising pack full of wonderful ideas is available - we encourage everyone to join in. Wildlife charities, community groups, families and many more will be carrying out weird and wonderful fundraising events - 'Going truly wild'. The Springwatch team will lead into the appeal season and there is a chance to encounter local wildlife and find our more about wildlife conservation through attending Springwatch Wild Days Out (organised by BBC Learning). The One Show will be covering UK projects funded by the BBC Wildlife Fund

'Wild Night In' 20th June 8-10 pm on BBC Two

This year the BBC's Springwatch team goes global to launch a brand new Live Wildlife Appeal programme - WILD NIGHT IN. Its aim is to get Britain to go 'Wild for Money' and raise as much as possible for Wildlife Conservation projects around the world. For two action-packed hours, viewers will be urged to join Kate Humble, Chris Packham, Martin Hughes Games and their guests for a fundraising extravaganza. The WILD NIGHT IN is an inspiring and thought-provoking celebration of our world's wildlife, with guests including David Attenborough, Graham Norton, Edith Bowman and other celebrities, as well as inspirational conservationists on the front line.
