Hollywood Film Fest to honor Hans Zimmer

Oct. 25 awards also honoring 'Iron Man,' 'Toy Story' creatives

Film composer Hans Zimmer will be among award honorees feted at the 14th Annual Hollywood Film Festival.

Others set to receive fest laurels include cinematographer Wally Pfister; Disney/Pixar's "Toy Story 3," with director Lee Unkrich and producer by Darla K. Anderson tapped for an animation award; Paramount Pictures' "Iron Man 2," visual effects supervisors Ben Snow and Janek Sirrs will be honored for the work on the picture.

Festival founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu said those selected are being recognized for "outstanding work and creative vision."

The fest's screening program begins on Oct 20. Its awards event is set to take place on Oct. 25 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
