Sega has released screenshots for Sonic Free Riders, the third in the Sonic Riders.

Sonic Free Riders sticks closely to the 'Riders' formula of board racing and stunts, however, since Free Riders supports Microsoft's Kinect players will be able to use their bodies to steer their board and jump to perform stunts.

Characters announced so far include Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Shadow and Silver. Sonic Free Riders will also support the use of Avatars.

Sonic Colours producer, Takashi Iizuka has said it is 'nearly impossible' to please all Sonic fans.

Most fans we're quite pleased with this 3D remake of Mushroom Hill Zone, perhaps they should start there.
