WELCOME to my refuge in cyberspace.
The site was created because I'd written my very first fanfic and wanted somewhere to post it. This page has undergone many facelifts, and many more pages have been added to the site, but the basic layout remains the same.
FAN-TASTIC VOYAGE is my Star Trek: Voyager fanfic site where you can read These Ambiguities - the story that started it all. If you're interested in language(s) try LINGUA FRANCA.
The site was originally called Tricia's Cyberhaven and I considered some other names before settling on Avons of the Heart. This is taken from a poem by Rupert Brooke. It is not the patriotic nature of the poem that attracts me but that sense of a place apart, inviolate, other. This small corner of the web is my 'little nowhere of the brain'. Here is another poem about love of country that is more in keeping with my sentiments. For an Ancient Egyptian I have tried to keep this site accessible to all, so even if you're using a Neolithic browser or surfing without images you shouldn't encounter any problems. If you do, I'd be grateful if you'd let me know. One final point: please check out the charities below. I hope you enjoy your visit. Constructive criticism is welcome, but remember ... Tricia |

All rights reserved. The background to this page was made by me using a picture, not of the River Avon, but the River Stour (rhymes with hour) in Kent. It's the river that flows through Canterbury.
