Finances

Even if you decide to hand off the financial matters to a trusted employee or outside consultant, you would be wise to learn the basics of what it takes to finance and pay for the operation and to stay in touch with the financial matters. Take some time to review on a monthly basis your financial statements, including the balance sheet, the profit and loss statement, and the cash-flow statement. If you're not sure how to read those statements, or you're unfamiliar other matters such as business taxes, ask your accounting specialist for a crash course.
