Delhi's doctor, Delhi's pride...

Dr. Mukesh Batra being conferred the honour.

WITH DR. Mukesh Batra receiving the ISO 9001:2000 certification recently, his homeopathic clinic -- Positive Health Clinic -- becomes the world's first to receive the accreditation, proving the highest quality standards in homeopathy. The accreditation is related more to sophisticated hardware and customer-oriented care that comes through strict adherence to the rules, data base of the patients, test references, fact medification, hygiene of the employees and place. A customer feedback, which no one has access to, is sent to US Certification Centre that decides whether an organisation is worthy of the certificate or not.

Dr. Batra's Positive Health Clinic has seven chapters across India and one in Mauritius.

He is also the first Asian to receive honorary fellowships for `Prof. Emeritus to the College of Homeopathy in USA' and `Hahmann College of Homeopathy in UK' besides many awards for excellence in different parts of the country and abroad.

Recently Dr. Batra has come out with a de-stress programme for students of Mauritius as the level of educational stress on them is said to be much higher as compared to India as there are no high schools there but the students have to appear in board exams in class Vth that equals India's high schools. Stress on students during and after these board exams is too much, so also the suicidal tendencies and cases. Dr. Batra de-stress programmes are known to have made huge success there.

The success of the programme led him to think of what he calls `Corporate stress and Eu-stress.' "The killer competition in today's corporate world in India has resulted in huge stress graphs. We change it to positive stress or Eu stress through light medication and consultancies. After paying Rs. 6000 annually, a corporate officer can access services from any part of the city where Positive Health has its branches. He need not keep his papers along while visiting any of our branches in India or elsewhere as we keep his data base at all branches," says Dr. Batra.

"A few years ago, he has cured rare cases of leucoderma and a person in Switzerland who was all set undergo a liver transplant. But two years of regular treatment from Dr. Batra saved him from the transplant itself," recalls Harminder, the doctor's aid.

If you ask him about the expenses that an average man has to incur, he would tell you: "It is not beyond a poor man's reach. It goes down to just Rs. 2000 for the whole year as the cure for any ailment takes its own course in homeopathy."
