Don Proehl
Long-time DHS teacher Don Proehl passed away this past June. Mr. Proehl taught in the career education department and was a legend for his fun classes as well as his parties.

Wildcats in the News:
Dexter Jackson (DHS Class of 2004) was just drafted in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dexter graduated from Appalachian State and helped lead them to the biggest upset in recent college football history when Appalachian State defeated Michigan. Dexter appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated after the victory.

Matt Anderson (Class of 1986) reently passed away. Matt eft behind a wife and 3 children. If you are interested in donating to a fund for his family, please email stfort@yahoo.com for more information.

Ryan Seacrest (Class of 1992) is entering his sixth year of hosting the number one rated show on television, "American Idol". Ryan is everywhere on television including hosting the "Dick Clark Nw Year's Eve Countdown Show".

The Dunwoody High Track Team just won the region track tournament and is favored to win the State Championship later in May.

The DHS Baseball Team is looking to defend their State Baseball Championship as the State Playoffs begin the week of May 9.

Several long time DHS teachers will be retiring this year, John McIntyre, Bob Faulk, and Mike Daniel. Other DHS fixtures retired over the past several years including Barbara Broadway, Martha Spear, and Rebecca Eldridge.

Kip Pardue (Class of 1993) recently starred in a highly rated ABC Family movie. Kip has starred in several movies including "Remember the Titans" and "Driven" as well as having a recurring role in television's "ER".
