On 29 March 2010, the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Priština began to issue visas and residence permits and assumed all other consular services that were until now performed in Macedonia at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Skopje.
The Consular Section of the embassy is situated in Priština at Ul. Anton Ceta 6.
Office hours of the Section: from Monday to Thursday from 8.00 to 12.00.
Until further notice, it is not necessary to book an appointment with the Consular Section for the submission of visa applications, certification of documents, submission of residence permit applications, etc.
Applicants who wish to certify documents may submit them every working day from 8.00 to 9.00. The certified documents will be returned to them the same day after 15.00.
Visa applications and residence permit applications may be submitted every working day from 9.00 to 12.00. If a visa application is complete and the embassy establishes no reservations to issue the visa, it will generally be issued the following day. Residence permits will be issued when the competent administrative unit in the Republic of Slovenia decides that permits are to be issued.
Information on the status of visa applications are available by phone (+381) 38246 255 or by e-mail mpi(at)gov.si.
All forms are available at the embassy free of charge; all fees are paid exclusively upon the submission of the application at the Consular Section window at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Priština. Any additional fees for any mediation or guarantee that a visa or residence permit will be issued are illegal. Cases occurred, in which individuals in the vicinity of embassies had offered to mediate in the process of issuing visas or permits in exchange for money.
Additional information: We wish to inform all applicants that the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia will create its own website in the coming days with more detailed information and all forms will be available online free of charge.
