Laser Sheet Labels

Laser sheet labels are loose single sheets that have been manufactured to meet the necessary requirements to run through an ink jet or laser printer.

  • The label stock must be laser compatible.
  • If labels are preprinted, they must be printed with heat resistant inks.
  • If the laser sheet size is anything other than
8 1/2" x 11", you should check the capabilities of your printer to be sure it will accept that size.

Size Information

Quality of Printing: The quality of print on the label is affected by the type of facestock and the thickness of the label. A smooth facestock allows the toner to adhere better. The brighter the facestock, the better the image contrast will be. A thinner facestock will cause a lighter image and a thicker facestock will cause the image to print thicker because of the extra pressure applied as the label travels through the printer.

  • Laser labels have many uses, from advertising labels to bar code labels.
  • The label can be butt-cut or die cut and are available in many sizes and shapes.
  • There are a variety of facestocks and adhesives available for use on laser labels.

Note: All laser label products are not equally compatible with all laser or ink jet printers. Working with your supplier for any special requirements will help assure that your label will satisfy your needs.
