SAN FRANCISCO -- LucasArts used GDC 2010 to announce that everyone’s favorite pirate, Guybrush Threepwood, is heading back to the Caribbean in Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge.  Coming this summer for Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, iPhone, iPod Touch and Windows PC, the new game follows on the success of The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition and adds exciting new gameplay features to make this the most complete Monkey Island experience yet. The game publisher held a part to celebrate the new game at the Tonga Room.

Nintendo DS gamers are about to get another chance at solving interactive crime with the latest Japanese translation from the bestselling franchise, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. This is the first game to star Mile Edgeworth, which adds a new twist to the gameplay perspective. Actor Michael C. Hall stars in the new Lionsgate Home Entertainment Blu-ray Disc and DVD release, GAMER. The acclaimed actor is having a convergence moment. Best known for playing a serial killer who tries only to kill the bad guys in Showtime’s “Dexter,” Hall can be seen on the small screen as Ken Castle, a videogame tycoon who blends real people with virtual games, in GAMER. Hall has also gone virtual in Marc Ecko Entertainment’s and developer Icarus Studios’ Dexter videogame, which is out now on iPhone and iPod Touch. Hall took some time to talk about his latest movie and his first venture into videogames in this exclusive interview.
