IT IS believed that your attire is incomplete without proper footwear. There are the footwear savvy who pick up footwear from visits abroad and look for the best in international brands. But with overseas brands making an entry into India, they need not wait for the next trip abroad. One of the latest is Preview, at 5, Basant Lok, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.
The outlet claims to offer elegant styles under the brand names Ioannis, Louis David, Braccini, Giana Milani, Enrico, Antinori, Via Dei, ST D'Pier, Fruit, and Habille. Not to forget their in-house creation Preview.
Preview promises to provide top-of-the-line international brands, mostly in 100 per cent pure leather, with elements in silk and a sports range exclusively for women. It claims to predict global trends for the season. "The Indian client today is aware, discerning and requires quality, stylised footwear of an international standard. We target the growing segment that stays in India but lives global," says Harsh Khanna, proprietor of the outlet.
No doubt, Preview has a standard international collection. Yet, the exorbitantly priced in-house production fails to leave a mark. In fact, it is no better than the Janpath or Lajpat Nagar stuff.
The package is made complete with designer utility bags added to the kit. These are priced reasonably and a trendy look makes them seem worth buying.
